Beaver Productions was incorporated in 1969, and produced its first concert on January 30, 1970, starring The Grateful Dead and Fleetwood Mac. This first concert was also the grand opening show for Beaver’s now legendary New Orleans concert venue, The Warehouse. This iconic venue was a landmark along the banks of The Mighty Mississippi River. Some of the artists that performed there include: The Who, Elton John, Joe Cocker, Leon Russell, Peter Frampton, Kiss, Chicago, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, The Band, The Police, The Clash, David Bowie, The Kinks, The Eagles, ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, Kansas, Rush, Foreigner, Foghat, T. Rex, Elvis Costello, Cheap Trick, and hundreds more.
The Warehouse was also where The Allman Brothers played 6 New Year’s Eve concerts, ZZ Top recorded part of their Fandango Album, and The Doors played their final concert on December 12, 1970. The venue closed its doors in 1982 with its final concert starring The Talking Heads.
